CARACTERISTICAS Sepak takraw (IPA pronunciation: [seˈpak taˈkro]) (kick volleyball, or simply takraw) is a native sport of Southeast Asia, similar to volleyball, except that takraw uses a rattan ball (a kind of cane from the India) and only allows players to use their feet and head to touch the ball. It is a kind of cross between soccer and volleyball, very popular in Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos and Indonesia.
